about Darren Vickery

RA/NCARB - Managing Partner & Head of Design

Darren's wide ranging project experience as a designer & architectural illustrator, combined with his creativity, graphic abilities, professional license and NCARB certification, give him the skills & credentials to produce creative and successful designs.  His creative process still utilizes his own hand-drawn sketches, which are appreciated by clients artistically, but are also still very effective tools of design. 

​In addition to Darren's years of experience designing custom homes, some of his notable commercial, corporate & thematic design experience includes work for: Six Flags Corporation, Warner Brothers, Universal Studios Japan, Pfizer, Roche Laboratories, ​Merck, University of Tennessee, Ironstate Development, Keily Development, Regal Cinemas, Habitat for Humanity, Morey's Piers, ​Dollywood.

With 25 years of design experience, Irv is knowledgeable in the necessary processes for a successful project.  Irv seamlessly navigates clients through design phases with a hard-working nature and a light-hearted demeanor which makes  the process an enjoyable and exciting progression of ideas. 

Committed to surpassing client expectations, his acute grasp of structure, proportion, materials, and details enables him to help transform a client’s creative vision into a physical environment which supports and inspires them. 

Known for his expertise in traditional and classical architectural styles, Irv's portfolio reflects his dedication to excellence and the uniqueness of each project.  His designs evolve from an appreciation of the functional and aesthetic priorities of his clients. 

Beyond his professional pursuits, Irv indulges in his passion for nature as an amateur arborist. He has nurtured the growth of thousands of Japanese Hinoki cypress trees, and is working toward an imminent goal for the establishment of a flourishing Hinoki forest amidst the smoky mountains of Tennessee.

Senior Interior Designer

Ms. Vickery has extensive experience as an interior designer with an accredited Bachelor of Science degree from The College of New Jersey. Kimberly is a senior interior designer with over 18 years of interior design experience in projects ranging from research & technology, corporate, government, healthcare, hospitality, and residential design. She has experience in managing projects including programming, space planning, furniture & finish selection & specification, construction documentation in addition to construction administration.

Some of Kimberly's notable work experience include projects for: National Institute of Health, Roche, MITRE, Merck & Co., Inc., University of Florida, Georgia Institute of Technology, Walters Group, NJEDA, Ironstate Development, Marriott​​.
